Dr. Miner founded Miner and Associates in 1992. He has over four decades of practical experience as an active grant seeker in academic, health care, and other nonprofit environments. He has been a professor, research administrator, and dean at small and larger public and private universities.   As a seasoned grant seeker, he has written or coached the submission of over 5,000 proposals that have won over one-half billion in new grant funds.  He has trained over 10,000 successful grant seekers in grant workshops conducted throughout the United States and abroad.  Along with colleagues Jeremy Miner and Jerry Griffith, he has coauthored several grant books and is a frequent contributor to Grantseeker Tips, a free electronic newsletter on successful grant seeking. Lynn runs the Miner and Associates corporate office in Milwaukee and notes "I'm the guy who is long-in-tooth at Miner and Associates; I've encountered nearly every grant situation you can think of and use that experience base to help others win grants." He will host The International Grant seeking forum at the 2010 International ICT for Africa Conference. http://www.minerandassociates.com
